A man wants a woman who can match up to his energy. He wants to be able to show her off to the world.
As a single woman, there are certain things you must know that turn a man off and sometimes make him look in the other direction. A man, who is emotionally, financially, mentally; physically and spiritually grounded, knows what he is looking for in a woman.
Every Man Wants an Intelligent Woman
No man wants to date/court a woman who cannot hold down conversations with him or in the midst of friends. The man wants a woman who can speak, listen to him and contribute to any topic of discussion with his friends and hers. He knows that communicating intelligently will significantly help improve the relationship.
Men Look for Confident Women (Sometimes with Natural Looks)
Every man likes to have woman who is confident in herself and who also believes in herself. Such women know how to carry themselves in a dignified and elegant manner, no matter what they are going through.
Men also do not really like fake hair, fake nails, lashes etc. If you appear too materialistic and you focus on fantasy than reality, you may want to think again. Try to be as natural as possible and let him see you without make-up.
Allow him to evaluate his potential partner very well. Most men will tell you that they prefer the natural look than all the pancakes, whistles and bells.
Men Want Independent Women
Men want independent and strong women who can inspire them to become better. He knows she is a woman of substance and purpose. He can rely on her to take care of business without needing him every second before making decisions (where he does not need to be involved).
They do not want women who cling, sneak and want to know everything he is doing. Give the man a break! Chasing, sneaking, suspecting and questioning a man will turn him off and lead him to exit the scene quicker than you know. He wants to know you are secure and not dependent.
Men Like Women Who Are Honest and Loyal
Men love to see loyal and honest women who are not playing games but allows him to be himself. She loves to play and is active. She knows how to engage and connect with him. She is there to be a best friend to him in the times of need. A man looks beyond the good looks to find a woman he can rely on, a woman of substance and character, one who will not make him feel less than he deserves but help and support him.
A Man Likes a Woman Who Knows and Understands the Bedroom Game
Women often forget about satisfying the man in the bedroom after getting married and having children. A man must keep his guitar strings fine-tuned constantly. You must know how to turn him on and play his favorite tune. You must be willing to explore new avenues and ideas in the bedroom.
As documented in my book, “Love, Sex, Lies and Reality,"
"The way to a man’s heart is through great sex. Give him the best and you will get anything you ask for." - Kemi Sogunle
A Woman Who Brings the Best Out of Him
A man wants a woman who makes him look and feel good. Be ready to massage his ego. She also has to be emotionally mature. She will not judge him but is supportive of all he does. She inspires and encourages him to become the best version of himself without fussing or nagging. She pushes him to the fullest potential and he notices how much better he is becoming.
It is so easy to understand what a man wants but without paying attention, you may miss out. The society has also conditioned us into believing that men only delight in good looks, sexy bodies and younger women. If you have any of these attributes, it will be easy for a man to find and keep you as an asset not an item.
